Types of Thermocouples
Type K
Range: -200 to +1260 °C (-328 to +2300 °F)
Widely used due to its broad temperature range and cost-effectiveness.
Type J:
Range: -200 to +750 °C (-328 to +1382 °F)
Suitable for lower temperature measurements.
Type T:
Range: -200 to +350 °C (-328 to +662 °F)
Good for cryogenic applications.
Type R/S:
Range: 0 to +1600 °C (32 to +2912 °F)
Used in high-temperature environments, often in laboratory settings.
Type B:
Range: 0 to +1800 °C (32 to +3272 °F)
Suitable for high-temperature applications but has a slower response time.
